Corpse Bearer

I am a corpse bearer
Body full of rotten sin
Revive my world of wretched decay

I plead
Rip this sin from me
Like flesh from bone
Revive my decomposing corpse

Possess me with the fire of the spirit
To burn the maggots of condemnation
That crawl in the skin, without salutation

Crawling through the valley of death
In a darkness of unrelenting hatred
As we carry, the seed of sin
From aeon to aeon

Lo, for light destroys the darkness
And the heavens shout from above
Follow, bear your corpse no more
For Hell cannot hold you

Cursed, as death holds our sands of time
With the drop of the hourglass
We may find ourselves in Hell
Where we rot forever

Every day consumed by the rot, that festers and spreads inside my body
Feeling hollow, as it takes root
This blight that I've created

Now, I need cleansing from this toxin
That I ignored far too long
Let go, purge this sin from me
For hell will not take me
