Outerspace Again

Three, two, one, ignition

My dream one day is to go inside a rocket
And to travel far through the stars and the planets

Live to see the day we go to outerspace again
And maybe I can join them

In 1963, space travel was a pipedream
Thought up by geeky people with their telescopes
Sightseeing

Counting each planet
Mercury, Mars and Venus

And don't forget Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus
And Neptune and some dwarf planets like Pluto

But that's just in our solar system
Space is bigger than we know

Then some brave astronauts in 1969
Went and landed on our moon

And made history worldwide

But ever since then, as the years went by
And out feud with the Soviet Union all but died

Space travel bumped back near the bottom of our list
While we sent our rovers, satellites
And visited our space station.

But up until recently, we spent our productivity
Creating new rockets that will bring humanity
To the red planet

The planet called Mars
So we can build bases and cities to call ours

My dream one day is to go inside a rocket
And to travel far through the stars and the planets

Live to see the day we go to outerspace again
And maybe I can join them

Every single day
I gaze up into outer space

And then I daydream of the days
I get to travel far away, yeah

Every single day
I gaze up into outer space

And then I daydream of the days
I get to travel far away, yeah

Every single day
I gaze up into outer space

And then I daydream of the days
I get to travel far away, go

Every single day
I look at outer space

And I see a world beyond this earth
And I want to fly away

Three, two, one, ignition

My dream one day is to go inside a rocket
And to travel far through the stars and the planets
