Sitting in the back of the classroom
She's scratching some goofy drawings on her desk
The teacher's speaking and suddenly
BOOM
Oh shit i forgot to mute my phone before the test
Ridiculed in front of everyone
The voice of the teacher sound like breaking glass
Everyone is laughing but the only one smiling at me
Is the girl in the back of the class

And i see her climbing the school's stairs
Her bag on one shoulder and her messy black hair
And every guy is chasing after her
But i'm the only one that count because
We're best friends forever

Now we're both sitting in the back of the class
And there is not much space left on our desk
We skip school to walk in the park
And argue wich Spiderman is the best
There's a knot in my stomach
My head turns hot chills run down my back
She takes my hand i fall appart
She aims for the head
But shoots for the heart

And we're together climbing the school's stairs
My arm around her shoulder and her messy black hair
But now i feel like this guys chasing after her
Cause i don't wanna be your friend anymore
I want to be your lover

So basically we're at the moment of the story where the guy confesses his feelings to the girl
And she's like
Oh Kyle i've always loved you
And they lived happily ever after
But sadly this isn't like the movies

And I can tell by her tears
That she didn't want it to end that way
Cause she tells me that she moves out in June
And we're already at the end of May

New year ans i'm alone climbing the school's stairs
My bag on one shoulder and my messy black hair
I bet that in her new school boys are chasing after her
And she will meet a guy that counts like me
As her best friend forever

Who's that girl in the back of the classroom
She smiles at the drawings on our desk
So i sit beside her and suddenly
