Big City, Small Apartment

In a big city small roomed apartment
I find myself spending my time
I sit here alone all too often
But you shouldn't worry I'm fine

I know that you're not really gone
And sure I'll find people who stay
I hate hours spent in this place
But I'll leave here someday

In the future we'll slide on the sea
Or maybe we'll fly through the air
Or ride in a car towards the sunset and not have a care

In a big city small roomed apartment
I find myself sitting alone
I'm wondering if this place is worth it
I'm thinking that I should go home

But now's not the time to give up
No, now's not the time to give in
And I'll be back home when I've seen it all through to the end

In the future we'll slide on the sea
Or maybe we'll fly through the air
Or ride in a car towards the sunset and not have a care
