A Survivor's Story
Do you know what it feels like to bash in somebody's head
Because they have turned into one of the hungry dead
Have a seat I'd like to tell you what I've learned about this world
We don't have a no we don't have a chance
To survive this thing
And I don't think I want to do this dance
After what I saw this year
The first one it was my brother
Morning after Halloween
Stabbed him througj the eye with scissors
He was only seventeen
Then my neighbor and her daughter
Dead for days but moving fast
Came in through my bedroom window
Covered in blood and broken glass
I'd never felt so alone
Or unsafe inside my home
It's a world where the corpses of my
Friends and family try to eat me
Every day is gore and mayhem
Everything's dissolved completely
What's the point in running hiding from the jaws of the unliving
When I know that at this rate, I will be crazy by Thanksgiving
I ran outside and found my mother
Her legs were gone she couldn't walk
But I knew she could still bite me
That's when I picked up the rock
We don't have a no we don't have a chance to survive this thing
And I don't think I wanna waste my time
Trying not to die
We don't have a no we don't have a chance to survive this thing
And I don't think I wanna do this dance
After what I've saw this...
Just to wait for my turn this...
To become like them this year
Because they have turned into one of the hungry dead
Have a seat I'd like to tell you what I've learned about this world
We don't have a no we don't have a chance
To survive this thing
And I don't think I want to do this dance
After what I saw this year
