Lesson Learned

You see
Order has a purpose
It serves us
And when you are ordered into service
And lying under the surface
Is the temptation to disobey
Well then a correction must me be made

Disobedience will not be tolerated
Was I not clear
Have you not be warned
My instructions were plain yet again and again
I find you here
Reveling
In your disobedience

Fine... do you feel the change in the winds and tides
Was it worth it
Is that fear in your eyes
Or do you just see the excitement in mine

Discipline is brought both firm and on time
And I take pride in weilding pain to remind
The disobedient how to find their way back to order
We must choose an implement, an instrument of bonding, sacred and intimate
Colliding the forces of my discipline and your disobedience
They shall be referred to with reverence

The Cane
The Belt
The Paddle

Inert and harmless
As they lay across the table
One by one
While you remember
What they are capable of
Once they are in my hands focused on reminding you what you've done and shall not do again
They become worthy of their uncharactaristic prefix
Each speaking a sublte dialect of pain
Chaining together sensations to punish you

PUT YOUR HANDS BY YOUR SIDE
We will expose your bottom soon
But we shall begin just as you are

Lean across the table
Not knowing when the first stroke is coming
Is part of the dance
Moment after moment chance after chance
Waiting for the glimpse of a warning when the air races past
Signaling
That the symphony has begun
And one by one

As stroke meets clothing to
Tell you the rules you have broken
Must be obeyed
I will write melodies with your pain
Using it to sing a refrain
A song you'll remember if you try to disobey again

Have you forgotten the second movement
Where we harmonize with The Cane
Lower your jeans as we move to the next movement
A new sensation to bring an improvement
Now we can mark down our melodies
On a deserving canvas
Where one can read the brusies and whelps as musical notation

I will write a masochist's masterpiece
While you search for sensory mastery
Meditating mindfully
While I masterfully
Perform for an audience
This requiem of correction
To its final standing ovation

And after a while
I see an expression of tears but a smile
Long ragged breaths
Of one whose completed a worthy trial
Unsure of how much more there is to endure
You feel as though you've felt ever senstion
But aslo know you could feel more

A feast built of the ingredients
Of order and obedience
The tears fall to the table
Tears that you earned
Tears you knew that would come
If you continued to yearn
For not listening

I gaze upon the marks that have been
Left and the memory of pain
That I know has be burned
Deep in your memory
Of teaching you a lesson
And knowing that lesson is learned
