Serendipity

Wandering in empty space
A lack of hue in this place
Miles of ivory enslave my brain
Through the corner of my eye I see a shade

I'm feeling blinded this light all around me is
Bright and it making me blink
So much for nothing not even a speck is in sight and
Its making me think
Off in the distance a tint shows faintly, its
Color not very distinct
As I walk closer, searching for closure
I found what I needed to see

Serendipity, you'll be my symphony
Keeping me up when I'm down
A surprise in disguise, in the times where I
Tried and failed, I needed a sign from
You know what is true, watch what I do
Oh what a view
Stop trying to find the way, the way will find you
When you are ready to stay

I would try to speak
But when the time runs deep I'll sink
Like a cloud in the sky I've been drifting through life
Seeking a place I could cry
My young person's reveries' now just a memory
Something like a lie

I'm feeling blinded this light all around me is
Bright and it making me blink
So much for nothing not even a speck is in sight and
Its making me think
Off in the distance a tint shows faintly, its
Color not very distinct
As I walk closer, searching for closure
I found what I needed to see
