Paracausality

I feel my heart palpitate as I hit fight or flight
My ears are ringing with the echo of hums in the night
A piercing scream draws my eyes towards the light

I'm scratching at my chest
The air is thick and getting harder to breathe
My eyes sting with sweat makes it hard
To justify Just what I have seen

From inside the void
No longer can I ignore
My mind was tested by another kind
No longer arranged in a manner that I can describe
I'm ready

As I wait for the morning light
I'm contemplating space and time
When my mind starts to wander
My perception begins to unwind
And if theres truly a creator that is so divine
Then what gives me the right to criticize lifes design
And if my eyes did not deceive me
What could this world become
Unity, prosperity, a way out of the darkness
Or would this new life find a way
To simply tear us apart

And when the sun comes up in my new reality
Will the light change what I believe the picture to be
And my daily routine, feels like a dream
Hard to keep from bursting at the seams

In my office sipping my coffee
Fully unaware what the stars have to offer me
What the stars have to offer

Staring out past the window pane
1000 lights line the city scape
And as my neighbor floats up towards the sky
The only thought to cross my mind
This is not in your head

Arbiter of the skies
Invoke the message of the ancients in the great beyond
The equinox signals the arrival of a mind splitter
Like falling comets
An invasion as the skies descend
Non est ad astra mollis e terris via

Saepe ne utile quidem est scire quid Futurum sit
It's not worth knowing what's coming
Or going to be

Claw out your eyes is it worth all this
Will their visage drive you to slit your wrists
Against a cosmic evil there can be no hope
They'll round up all survivors, and
When worse comes to worst
Devour this species

And if my eyes did not deceive me
What could this world become
Unity, prosperity, a way out of the darkness
As I wait for the morning light
I'm contemplating space and time
When my mind starts to wander
My perception begins to unwind
And if theres truly a creator that is so divine
