Dear Universe

Dear Universe

You are everything that exists
Yet nothing at all at the same time

You represent seas of vast energy
I can't see but I can feel your presence like a strong enemy

I sharpen my mind to improve my sensory
If God is a woman I indeed feel like she'd be into me
Are you into me
I could be tripping
Purposely losing my balance and call it centering
I have so much to offer but at times I ask what can a sinner bring

We strive to be superstars in hopes of earning a spot amongst your many constellations
But when I was born of a silent explosion and culmination of mystic particles in an area
Where oxygen doesn't exist
There's bound to be complications
That's complicated

I was born during a time where Cancers were abundant
And now I live on a planet where cancer is abundant
Am I a terminal illness
Or could I be a component of the cure
I try and remain grounded although my soul reminds me I'm impure

Don't be defined by a letter
No matter what your name
Don't let them say you failed
No matter what your grade
Always move forward never retrograde
Put that in retrospect
And view it with a horoscope
This is the dawn of a new age

Sincerely yours
A light being born of the universe
