My Imperfections

I spoke up in a crowd about my imperfections
They said, "Go to the back room and just hide them in a closet"
They asked me if I had a problem and I started to tell them
But then they cut me off, hit the button, not interested, can you pause it?

Don't you shame me for my imperfections
Don't you shame me for who I am
Who are you to shame me for my imperfections?
Who are you to shame me for who I am?

I walked out on the street, and I saw a crowd there
Around a store with lights and streamers, and a giant signboard
I was shocked when I read it said
"Our imperfections"
They were getting rich selling theirs right in the middle of the road

Don't you shame me for my imperfections
Don't you shame me for who I am
Who are you to shame me for my imperfections?
Who are you to shame me for who I am?

Don't you shame me for my imperfections
Don't you shame me for who I am
Who are you to shame me for my imperfections
While you're getting rich selling yours?
