Billy and Mary, Pt. 1

Two hundred years ago lived somewhere in the West
A very brave cowboy named Billy the Best
He felt in love with Mary from the local saloon
And kissed her red lips in the shine of the moon

But soon his girl ran off with another boy
Poor Billy was left alone without any joy
So everybody thought

Oh what a shame
Poor Billy lost his flame
Poor Billy lost his flame

Well Billy was a fighter so he took his gun
And went to the saloon where it all had begun
When he walked in he saw his rival drinking gin
Billy shot fast but he missed him

Mary was screaming but it all was to late
Billies shot took his Mary dear away
So everybody thought

Oh what a shame
Poor Billy shot his flame
Poor Billy shot his flame

Billy couldn't realize what he had done
While his frightened rival was already on the run
Well Billy was a cowboy so he took his rifle
He said Mary I'll meet you in the next life

Billy now has made an end to his days
While looking into Marie's beautiful face
So everybody thought

It's not a shame
Poor Billy loved his flame
Poor Billy loved his flame
Poor Billy loved his flame
