Casio Dream

Broad daylight
A Casio dream
I got voices in my head but I'm barely asleep
I'm barely awake
I'm barely alone
I reach out my hands and I grab a white stone
Close inspection: the stone is a skull
I can't see my feet I'm knee deep in these bones
And out of the socket a snake pokes his head
Asks if I'm alive or if I'm already dead

Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud

Out of the cracks of the bones in the ground
I see flowers spring up and they bloom all around
The snake in the skull, he turns into a vine
Says "Get you some grapes and turn my venom to wine"
It doesn't matter what we see in our dreams
But it matters how we feel to understand what it means
On a mountain of bones with a snake I'm at peace
But I don't have the words to explain it

Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud

Truth is I think I'm already dead
A corpse walking around with thoughts in its head
And maybe what's real is actually a dream
Life is a riddle
It's not what it seems
I wrote it on a stone
The white one
I placed it in a dream
The right one
And when I fall asleep will someone
Remind me I'm not going crazy

Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
Don't make me say it
Don't make me say it out loud
