I've changed so much throughout and I already know
It's comin' up to the time and I just gotta let go
Of myself and of the older me
He was only stupid doing things that he just didn't see
The consequences of the actions he would take
It's only a matter of time and he'd make a mistake!
But thankfully, he was surrounded by the better peeps
Their is a mother and a farther I would like to cheers to
They know that if it weren't for them I wouldn't be who
I am today, their ain't no way!
I'd let that slip through
Cause it would be the death of me
From the day I were born now to the present day
I was blessed with a brother and sister
They always kept me straight
They brought me back down to my feet when I was blinded
I lost my way a couple times, they'd hope I'd find it
Because of all the guidance, we're truly binded
There's nothing like a closer family to get me through
The tougher times
You know like when I were in school
I'd like to make a statement, one last goodbye!
As you grow up you start to learn it ain't easy to get by
I'm happy with myself the way I am I think you know it
It's time to get wridda the older me, so I can start to be myself
I've always been bein' better I don't want nothin' else!

To make you happier than I ever was
But now I'm changing I'll do better to fix these broken scars!
