Ghost Town

Body's ergonometry in the forefront of my mind
Vectors of my honesty, a crawling space to hide
The timbre of the challenge, that my ego has defined
Shivering on contact, as your skin reaches mine

I built this house in a ghost town
With Foundations buried deep
The control of isolation
Commander of the keep
Each brick placed with my own hands
Walls that tower out of reach
Longing for distraction
A rupture, a release

The conversations Faded. I Wish I didn't care
Decision made the distant vista suddenly looks bare
Hard words all become echoes that trickle from my mouth
All the tears I'd wish to shed, long since drained from this ground

And so I dig with bloodied hands
Wont something grow on this barren land
And so I dig with bloodied hands
Wont something grow on this barren land

I built this house in a ghost town
With Foundations buried deep
The control of isolation
Commander of the keep
Each brick placed with my own hands
Walls that tower out of reach
Longing for distraction
A rupture, a release
