Spark

I don't want to be a
Spark that falls in the ocean
I wanna burn so bright
That my mind will be set free
I shout it out
But no-one feels the emotion
Like a shooting star
That hides in the light of day

I ring the bell, but no-one's home
Seek to define the great unknown
I question all they taught to me
Undo my false reality
I want to talk about my fears
I want to learn through all my years
And when the truth is hard to face
I hope it holds my freedom

Cause I don't want to be a
Spark that falls in the ocean
I wanna burn so bright
That my mind will be set free
Drifting apart like a
Lifeboat lost in the ocean
Feeling so far from
The truth that they gave to me

In nature's heart I'll find my home
I'll learn from miles the need to roam
From forest floor to tallest peak
Define my own reality
I want to walk like it's a gift
And use my anger to uplift
No matter how long it may take
I hope I find my freedom

We are told lies for reasons
And since I see right through it
My voice won't be excluded

Cause I don't want to be a
Spark that falls in the ocean
I wanna burn so bright
That my mind will be set free
I shout it out
But no-one feels the emotion
Like a shooting star
That hides in the light of day
