House on the Moon

I dream about a house on the moon
Every now and then, just for me and you there on the moon
It may be cold but there's enough space for us two

You seem distracted by the noise
You create for yourself, but in the clouds
There's no such thing as stupid rules or useless appointments
You can just relax and take it easy

And I will take pictures of you with the same stupid moon every year
And we'll send it to our parents on Christmas Eve
I bet you miss the smell of rain on your morning run

But every now and then
I dream about a house on the moon for me and you
