Elear's Pain

Forsaken by my father, before my promptly birth
His blood casts a shadow, one I could never erase
My mother in deathbed, she exhaled her last breath
Told me to always beware
She said, humans are greedy; to never trust them
Elear, keep hiding or you will meet pain.
"Your dragon scales react in despair," she said
"Do not let humans see them flare"

I buried my mother, with my bare hands
A child told the village, and the hunting commenced
I was so young did not understand
their reasoning for their demands

From Gerbelia States, I barely escaped
For answers, I traveled to my father's den
Forsaken twice, I ran away

Celestial Real give me a break!
Is being half-human a futile mistake?
Why must they chase
For Purple Dragon scales?

Oh this pain
I kill thrice a day
Oh this pain
I just need some rest
