Bloodrusted Mother Earth

All I know is a lonely mountain
But I remember building every one

Eulogy
Lamenting

Bloodrusted Mother Earth

God has forged my final blue tomb in the winter's arms
From marble, moonlight, metal and blood it is slowly carved
While I find my peace in this cold, hard solemn decay
In the still, snowy waste of Mother Earth inside her womb

The sun won't rise again it's frozen below
Now I wait for the moon to follow suit
Wondering how long it takes a star to drown
And if they scream as they go

My children have all grown and gone
I've given all I can to their garden
My children of humanity I hate to love
But this Mother made them who they are
Will someone sing a eulogy or hum a lullaby
There's no one left on the planet
I just want to tell someone goodbye
