The Dawn

So much noise, so much pain
My face against the window
I'm waiting for the dawn
So many distractions
I'm turning upside down
So many voices, in my head
Anger and rage, I'm going insane
Such a long wait, I'm crying inside
So many people, so much commotion
Now I'm taking a moment, to see
Into my quiet place, I'm going underground
Back to my rhythm, back to me
I follow my breath, I follow the sound
I remember the door, that was always there

I knock on the door, I'm taking me down
I'm finding my way back, to me

I'm closing the door, I shut out the noise
I'm listening to the sound, of the sea

So much noise, so much pain
My face against the window
I'm waiting for the dawn
