I'm looking at you through weary eyes
Can you tell just how I feel
By the hurt from your lies?
I'm sick of being someone you use
To vent about these things
I don't care what you do
We've both been at this game long enough
You put on a visage and think that you're so tough
But the truth is something you'll never say
That behind the dumb persona you're really just fake

I've had it up to here with this

It needs to change

I think it's time that we reassess

I look around and all that I see
Are the faces of these people
Who aren't what they seem
But I'm just as guilty as all the rest
We say this, do that
It's uncontrolled

I've had it up to here with this
Make up, move on from fake friendship
I'm done with all these stupid games
It needs to change

I think I've found out why I'm upset

I see we're self-obsessed
I wish people would just say the truth
