Go Burn That Plow

Well the man of God was traveling down the dusty road that day
He spied old Elisha working with his oxen, so he turned to walk his way
With a mighty voice from the Lord, He prophesied every so loud
Go sacrifice those oxen and by the way, Go burn that plow

Sometimes you gotta let go, turn away from where you have been
It may not be the way you like it, but for sure God will be there in the end
As Elisha walked down that dusty field, he wiped the sweat from his brow
And he took on the calling of God that day and oh yes, he burned that plow

He's not looking for a super man or the highest intellect by the way
God's look for a burning heart with true grit that will stay
Now you don't have to be Elisha, don't make the devil make you bow
He's looking for you to carry that cross and yes you gotta burn that plow

Sometimes you gotta let go, turn away from where you have been
It may not be the way you like it, but for sure God will be there in the end
As Elisha walked down that dusty field, he wiped the sweat from his brow
And he took on the calling of God that day and oh yes, he burned that plow

I'm working on a building, I'm working on a building
I'm working on a building, for my lord for my lord
I'm working on a building, I'm working on a building, for my lord for my lord
