Nostalgic

Woke up this morning
With nothing to do
Nothing to do now that I'm not with you

I went out driving
With nowhere to go
Just living in my hometown
When I never thought I'd move back home

Ended up at my high school
Right as the the kids let out
Flooded halls posters on the walls took me right back

Out in the courtyard
I used to sit in
Thinking about all those girls
That never wanted to be more than
More than friends

I'm feeling nostalgic
Having a midlife crisis
A midlife crisis

I went out dancing
For something to feel
Something to feel real new
Like it used to

I danced with my eyes closed
And let the bass sink in
Wishing I could shake off all those years
And do it over again

I'm feeling nostalgic
Having a midlife crisis
A midlife crisis

I'm feeling nostalgic
Having a midlife crisis
A midlife crisis

I'm feeling nostalgic
Having a midlife crisis
A midlife crisis
I'm feeling nostalgic
Having a midlife crisis
A midlife crisis
