Another Day
It's seven in the morning you wake up it's time to get up
Need to make your bed
So momma's not mad
Looking at the phone
It is time run
Then you take a morning shower
Freezing up when you hit cold water
Momma's downstairs cooking up the breakfast
Dad is reading daily newspaper
Coming outta shower
Still with a towel
Wear the uniform then u gone
To the dining room
And the food is there
So you take a big bite
One after another
Swallow it up
Look at the time
A minute just passed
And the plate is clean
Dad stop reading and he said to you
Grab your bag cuz it is time to go
On The ride to school
Rush hour traffic
Thinking thoughts
What's gonna happen
Will today be another day
Or something cool might just gonna happen
You had enough out of all this
It gets so boring you hate this
If something new happens in your place
Then you will never forget this day
Another day as always
Another day with the same face
You hoping for something crazy
To make a change in the daily
And then you arrive
Get outta car and don't slam the door
Walking to the school gate
And you see your friend
Have a small talk bout a thing yall love
Gossips, everyone at school they know it
This boy and that girl everybody loves it
All day and this will keep on going
Look at the clock you don't think its moving
Teacher came in late
Half the class already asleep
Break time still the best thing in day
