Ada Lovelace

Born in 1815, she was a woman with a big dream
Her way of thinking, turned over a brand new page
That's why they call her the prophet of the computer age

An engine designed for complicated calculation
She knew that it could have the greatest application
She started to think that she could change the conversation
Was she the beginning of modern computation

She had a vision! the very first algorithm
She saw the future, what was in store
She knew the counting machine could do so much more
Numbers numbers, flying everywhere
And Ada Lovelace, heard music in the air

Charles Babbage had plans for a machine to add the sums up
He never got it built, but Ada gave the thumbs up
No reason to stop at just simply crunching numbers
This machine will open up a multitude of wonders

She had a vision! the very first algorithm
She saw the future, what was in store
She knew the counting machine could do so much more
Numbers numbers, flying everywhere
And Ada Lovelace, heard music in the air

Numbers/ flying everywhere
Ada/heard music in the air
Numbers/everywhere
