All Gone

Another talk about fighting doubts
Ironically I am about
To question every answer I have found

Remembering the innocence
When every day made perfect sense
A lot is hard to find

I know the stars
Their names by heart
The motion of the planets spinning 'round
Their bright sides glow
Like long ago

Slowly it occurs to me
Every plan is soon a history
I hold onto my souvenirs
Of memories fading out

And I don't know if I'm wrong
I don't know if I'm wrong
But the sooner I look up
The sooner it's all gone

I'm sorry for the jokes I've tried
They were only fun when I felt fine
I went with the flow
But what do I know?

I'm sorry I couldn't take the lead
I'm sorry for my late apology
I wasn't running far
Just running fast

Now I'm aware to some degree
A dream's a plan of someone who's naive
I'll keep mine as the days go by
Until it's faded out

And I don't know if I'm wrong
I don't know if I'm wrong
But the sooner I look up
The sooner it's all gone

Right now I'm looking closer
Into how I'll make it up somehow
But the stars align so slowly

Now I don't know what went wrong
I don't know what went wrong
But as soon as I looked up
I realised it's all gone
It's all gone
