Mutual Admiration

I have asked myself one day
Why people love me if it just to play
Or give me attention then go away
And then I'm back with their mean words in my head
I will tell you what's all wrong
I found it when I wrote this song
They killed what used to be romantic there's no more symbolic everything's just grey

So you're all walking by
Relationships beautiful and strong
Money's a lie
And you can't even appreciate a song

And that's why I hate love because
It requires a mutual admiration
And today a nice car's worth a rose
Even if the flower's full of passion
And people will admit it
Like there's no problem in it
The nice guys are full of shit
But I can't agree with it

I'll meet someone I know
That will help me to stay afloat
And will know what's hidden behind a song
And could act all along like it was their personal treasure
