Heavy rain patters on the window in this black night
Strange noise always coming closer
Now extinguishes the last light
Something out there is not right

I hardly dare to breathe
My heart beats faster and faster
Strong and elderly
Preserving this emotion
But now closer and closer
I hear steps
Coming near
Suddenly they appear
But disappear in some distant sphere

I run with sore feet in a maze without no exit
No sign
No light
I am damned to fight
I'm afraid I'll never find the way out there
Not today not tomorrow
Because there is no way out
I'm trapped in the horror

Slowly I feel my legs no more
I hear the noise
Like someone opens the door
And this dense white fog
Takes my breath

Suddenly there's a frightening silence
I stop this run
And I know the nightmare has only just begun
See me thrown in this sea of wine
Trying to save what's mine
