Afraid to Dance

Sometimes I get a bit afraid of dancing in the light
Like unwanted spirits creeping behind my back
To steal what's left of my soul
And I don't like feeling out of control

But it's brought to my attention that in front of me
There might be a solution that could help me
Just let it take you by the hand
I guess at some point I will understand

Let it take you to the dark
Know it's gonna take a while
And it's gotta leave a mark
But you'll wanna get in style

Ain't nobody's watching near

But why am I afraid?
My muses of art would not approve
Could I handle this crusade?
