Mountain Smurph

Once I was
A Blackbird
Singing of things so
Dark and sombre
It made Tim Burton
Look cheerful
I left that state to
Go West
And I found
I was so much more

Being compared to The Warrior by her manager
Really made me feel the weight
Hanging on my shoulders

I nearly gave up
Being in a prison of love
Trying to find something in the nothing
The phoenix I am rose
As a bohemian
Nomad
Of a vegetarian zen buddhist
Minimalist
Embracing life
Living
And stoicism

I released the Opus Pilates
Which was to be my
Opus Pilates
Meaning
I'd reach the top when I just started

I discovered DistroKid
Much to DistroKid's dismay
As I am a troublesome kid for the Disco Mouse
A pandemic couldn't kill me
It only made me record and release so much more
And I am not done yet

The Mountain Smurph
Was but one of my personas
The Blackbird Noir
Another
But just like Ziggy
The future holds more to come
