Boy and his Guitar (if i were a sculptor)

I've been wandering about
All is quiet yet so loud
Her bedroom walls now a frozen white landscape
Fear manifesting, I can't escape
But Boy and his Guitar run and try and make a break for it

I've been wandering about
Ghostly haunting nowhere plains
But Jekyll takes a hold of me
When embraced by eyes of calm

The storm has settled but it won't leave
Hinders words and fragments charms
I've surrendered to the sirens' call
Too many times before
Stopped Boy and his Guitar

The color of vibration
Takes on a new form
Until expressed in efforts
Stales and sours
Poison pours

The raw ugliness of loneliness
Hums 'neath the cloak of shattered sound
The broken jangle of tarnished goods
Slapped out by Boy and his Guitar

All I wanted to do
Was play Guitar for you
When curled up at your feet
A vision of beauty now defeats
All sense of purpose and of dreams
All other artwork but mere scenes

Wrapped in my fur blanket
Naked and at home
Your blonde locks tumbled messy
Round your neck of sculpted stone
I watch you thumb and finger
Some chords so clumsily
Humming ever sweetly
Some tune by Kate Rusby
A moment branded in time
How you shine like a star

Girl and my Guitar

I've been wandering about
I know you're aimless as well
Come and take a walk with me
We'll forever wander uselessly
As the guitar family
