Footprints that we leave are numerous
Every breath we release is true to us
Shifting gears into front wheel drive
Staring at the rear view higher chance of a collide or collision
I had to switch it up make a decision
If I'm a keep going or keep reminiscing
What's good what's tough this is my composition
Some things don't need to be fixed but forgiven

We're having fun with the brass the next thing that we ask
Is you focus on the future without leaving the past
Steady traveling time can't get enough of it
In the present what a presence better run with it

Reaping all of the blessings from my seeds I that I sow
Watering and sun gleaming always means I grow
Cause I swing and I fling the roses I throw

You can roll with the punches we're gonna go with the flow
Conversations need to be had to make your heart whole
It's the new you you can't see cause right now
Is the old you you won't be after awhile

My birthdays don't really make my earthquake
Growth in age isn't always there to dictate
Only in combination with decisions I make
In my mind an incision for revision of things
Ready and able not Cain when I wake
Hardly any play weekends and work days
Got a couple of options just to stay sane
Family always watching over gotta think straight

What we're trying to say is that you hold the remote
