Dr. Na

Ocean currents carry me
On thermoclines across the sea
To places I know not to be
But those places know me well

On the way I'll speak in bubbles
Telling fish about my troubles
Hindsight's always clear as Hubble's
And pride it tends to quell

Years they passed and days they vanished
I still don't speak a word of Spanish
My ears I should've kept well managed
And caught dust as it fell

The path less traveled often squandered
On those that only wished to wander
You wonder of which I am fonder
But never will I tell

I'm Dr. Na

It all comes down and the worms come up
You have birds in the walls
I have holes in my cup
And I need nothing more than to be by myself

Its only lonely if you make it happen
I can not afford to be the Captain of this ship anymore

I'm Dr. Na
