I've been introspective lately
Taking inventory of my mental storage

I've been working on dealing with all of these feelings inside of me
I know if I move different nobody will treat me the same
They say there is a villain dwelling deep down inside of me
But I know taking an L is how you really learn the game

I wrote this verse in prostration as a demonstration of my love
Tried to give you the branch of an olive
You took it and threw it in the fire
Did I mention the branch was my arm
I hope that it did you no harm
That's ash in the breeze, food for the trees, so, now I gotta move on
Memories from my past come with me to the future through this song
