Game of Fools

If I may let me say to you
It's a game that is made for fools
No fare trade no bargains no rules
Play you may just can't use your tools
I got shame then got fame through you
So I prayed then I laid with you
Yes I prayed then I paid for you
Love or hate you can pick but you'll lose

Am I being fed lies
Or am I being persecuted for not having an aliby
Shall we stay here and die
Because we're too scared to try
Hey can I call on you to rise up rise up
Or should my focus be on getting you to wise up
In this age of consent decree
Where services exchange for such a high fee
Though some come not seeking money
Request instead a pledge of your loyalty
Seems premature or am I being naïve
But this constitutes a travesty

If I may let me say to you
It's a game that is made for fools
No fare trade no bargains no rules
Play you may just can't use your tools
I got shame then got fame through you
So I prayed then I laid with you
Yes I prayed then I paid for you
Love or hate you can pick but you'll lose
Yes you'll lose

And if I were to say it again
Would you block me from being your friend
And if the truth is no matter of fact
Then all lives matter not?
If you play with dogs then your'e gonna catch fleas
Though some may not consider this a symptom or disease
Some worship god but live as a demagogue
This proves there's a choice in what we believe
Some chose science saying proof is fact
Others say that their religion is no sister act
My problem with the two is diabolically opposed
One's proned to change while the other is opposed

Love or hate you can pick but you'll lose
Yes you'll lose
Yes I pray
Yes I pray
