In times like these, we don't have each other
Cause the fires of our spirits lay smothered
They say that life is better under systems
But it was long, long ago that they lost their wisdom

The pigs that feed us never wore glasses
They never thought about the needs of the masses
They give us drugs to keep us unaware
But it's just fodder to distract us from the ashes in the air

We gobble up the lies and ignore the infection
