She spoke in a different tongue

I know my presence brings a
Dark cloud into the room
For I'm overwhelmed by a truth yet spoken
I know she knows
She may not know what's in my soul
But she can feel it
She can feel it from miles and miles away
She's preparing herself
I can hear it when she speaks
"I hear you loud and clear."

We came in too fast and we burned
Like a bright and raging forest fire
Destroying everything in its path
But doing it beautifully nonetheless
