Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and my salvation
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
Of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army camp against me,
My heart shall not fear
Though war rise up
Yet I will be confident
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, to inquire in your temple
For he will hide me in his shelter
When trouble comes
And he will cover me with his tent
He lifts me high on a rock
And now my head will be lifted
Above my enemies
I will offer in his tent
Melody to the Lord
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, to inquire in your temple
I believe that I shall look on
The goodness of the Lord
Oh, wait for the Lord
Be strong and let your heart take courage
Hear me, O Lord, when I cry aloud
Your face I seek
Turn not your servant away
You who have been my help
Though my father and my mother
Have forsaken me
O God of my salvation
Lord, you will take me in
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, and to dwell in your house
All the days of my life
Yes, to dwell in your house,
All the days of my life
To inquire in your temple
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
Of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army camp against me,
My heart shall not fear
Though war rise up
Yet I will be confident
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, to inquire in your temple
For he will hide me in his shelter
When trouble comes
And he will cover me with his tent
He lifts me high on a rock
And now my head will be lifted
Above my enemies
I will offer in his tent
Melody to the Lord
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, to inquire in your temple
I believe that I shall look on
The goodness of the Lord
Oh, wait for the Lord
Be strong and let your heart take courage
Hear me, O Lord, when I cry aloud
Your face I seek
Turn not your servant away
You who have been my help
Though my father and my mother
Have forsaken me
O God of my salvation
Lord, you will take me in
And this is the one thing that I ask
This is the one thing that I seek
To see your beauty, and to dwell in your house
All the days of my life
Yes, to dwell in your house,
All the days of my life
To inquire in your temple
