The Silver Globe

New lands, new paths
They always tempted us
Vast fields, broad straths
And deserts full of sands
We learned to go
Further and further
We learned to feign
Fins and the feather
Exploring's our nature
It's always been observed

The Silver Globe, Earth's shiny sister
She lightened up the dark sinister
While we discovered the untouched lands
Her gentle glow was the distant witness

New skies, new hights
They didn't expect life
First came the Wrights
The next was Saturn V
We have her known
Since like forever
But just a touch
Calls for the clever
Exploring's our nature
It's always been observed

The Silver Globe, Earth's shiny sister
She lightened up the dark sinister
When we set on on this loner land
Her gentle glow was the closest witness

New lands, new skies
Again are out of reach
Next goals disguised
Mimicking black of pitch
But they say it's
Time and resources
So hopefully we'll
Leap to the stars, as
Exploring's our nature
It's always been observed

The Silver Globe, Earth's shiny sister
In vicious space we'll truly miss her
She wishes us goals so remote
Her gentle glow will no longer witness
