Chronicles
El Jani XO Supreme
Just what I'm living
Feel me on this
I started to write about the things I'm living
Wife left with my daughter
empty house no kidding
Rough patches tempered flared
guess there's no forgving
Gotta move on gotta move strong
but my daughters missing
Went to therapy to release the pain
Will was stronger then the gain
Reading the word of god which said
For we wrestle not against the flesh
But against powers, against rulers,
of the darkness of this world
Against spiritual wickedness in high places
Meaning you telling me my enemy has many faces
More things being taxed in my life then my wages
But it all changed up when I embraced it
My god, transcending love from problems
Illy with the pen keep my solemn
Knowledge from life like I went to hard knocks college
Walking the path of truth no more mental bondage
Influenced by many greats let me pay homage
Hova, Nasir, Hendrix, Marley, Davis
Coltrane, Santana kept me solid
Music to my ears, pen for the tears, man up
Won't let my fears act as spears
New beginnings and chapters rear
Read em like a book comprehend then persevere
It's clear why I'm here, it was destined
Journey manifested through my thoughts
Triumphs and transgressions Many lessons
All blessings chronicled in orations and allegories
Shared with you, use my story as observatory
My Uncle said it best, it was already exploratory
Wise man learns from others mistakes
No need for purgatory
That's just my story
Just what I'm living
Feel me on this
