Miró Reality

I laid awake to paintings of Joan Miró
Lucid as the shapes beside me seemed
Packed my mind for an odyssey to Norfolk
Lost the route, already hit the scene
I knew distortion, heard of Omelas, the lore
But then you spoke a hierarchy no more
Of the needs prescribed to cure my rut
I finally felt reborn

Called into reality with all my prospects
Couldn't learn to realize, so I lost them
Crept into a dream, it gave me purpose
Now I'm climatized
Was the journey worth it

I saw the comet, quickly turned away
Guarded by the Eden, fear set free
Danced into the Aurora Borealis
The particles forewarned, but never reached
Swam in the ocean, coloured far too neon bright
But I heard you cheer for me, it remedied my soul
As the bluebird flew and stars aligned
I finally felt consoled

Called into reality with all my prospects
Couldn't learn to realize, so I lost them
Crept into a dream, it gave me purpose
Now I'm climatized
Was the journey worth it

I found my childhood in Bermuda waters
Then dreamt "To Wish Impossible Things"
Pulled the plug on the faint subconscious reverb
For I can't face the memories of spring
Graduation, what an end
To a life of compliments
To the revel of my strengths
To the full adrenaline
That used to mark my veins
Now, I'm used to the rain
I'm getting used to the rain
I'm getting used to the rain

Called into reality with all my prospects
Couldn't learn to realize, so I lost them
Crept into a dream, it gave me purpose
Now I'm climatized
Was the journey worth it
It will never be worth it
It will never be worth it
It will never be worth it
It will never be worth it
