Good Folks Everywhere

When the sun is sinking low
And I don't know which way to go
Hope is fading just as fast
As that last light of day

I feel my eyes begin to burn
I squeeze them tight and make a wish
That it'll be okay

Then like an answer to my silent prayer
Somebody always shows up from somewhere

Friends I didn't know I had
Appear when everything goes bad
They walk me through the coldest, darkest night
Helping hearts are all around
If you look they always can be found
They make me see that it'll be alright
They tell that somebody out there cares
And there are good folks everywhere

When the night keeps growing colder
And the world rests on my shoulders
I don't know how I am going to make it through this on my own
It never ceases to amaze me
An angel swoops right in and saves me
And reminds me that no matter what
I'm not out here alone
