Early 90's
In the Early 90's
An African child was born
He cried out of his mother's womb
Not for hunger or thirst, for food or water
But he was thirsty for sound
Thirsty to hear what melodies, what strings or drums this new world had to offer
He was thirsty for music
Not too long he fell in love with that street sound
Studying the greats he said, I want to do something profound
Like legends sublime
I am that child, I am Derry Hans
And DEM GO KNOW!!
