Vega

Gonna go away for a while
Don't be surprised if I stay for a while
And I'll always come home you know it's just a sea mile
I just think I'll go away for a while

Gonna take a break at the breakers
Weave through the woven seaweed and need to rinse the brine left behind by the makers
And I don't take this light it's just been a long night
So I think I'll take a break at the breakers

I'm gonna run for miles 'til my lungs get fat
From here to Tennessee, maybe quit poetry become a bureaucrat or something

Where's all the romance and speaking of things
The magpies are lost or they can't find their wings
Even Vega gets tired of shining

Gonna go away for a while
It's gonna be okay after a while
But I miss myself, I think I put her through hell
So I think I'll go away for a spell
