Walking In the Woods
I went walking in the woods one day
I did not know what's gonna come my way
I walked on honey come what may
I thought to my self
Oh, this could be
A great adventure
Possibly a chance of a lifetime could hit me
City boy come timber jack
Concrete jungle left far back
Out in the wilds, yeah
That's where I am
I'm so amazed of all those trees
Suddenly I'm out in the fields
Making friends with happy sheep
I hear a moo
A cow's on my right
A dog barking somewhere behind
It's running to me
It's gonna take a bite
Oops, ouch, I want out
Someone call a cab take the shortest route
I've had it with my a-walk about
But wait, not yet
The dog's on a leash
And there's a girl wearing short blue jeans
She says hello and smiles to me
She asks who I am and what I do?
I ask where I am and who are you?
I add do you live here or are you lost too?
And she goes asking
Have I seen her brother Lou
I say unless he was one of them
Who made that eerie sound moo
I've seen no one but you
But hey, I'm so pleased to meet you!
We'd drink cans of coke, icy and cool
Dove into a muddy pool
She said she'd dig one rainy afternoon
Pretty new for a downtown guy
Wash clothes and leave them there to dry
And run around in the country side
Her brother Lou's got a ford
Old and rusty, my sweet lord
On the hood greasy tools and a board
Brother Lou's got a tattoed arm
He looks pretty bad but he means no harm
Devoted cowboy working in the farm
That's how the story goes this far
How will it continue?
Stay tuned!
