Smoke (Acoustic)

This morning I wake up coughing
Am I one of the last few to still be walking
The air is thick and my eyes are watering
There was a blackout and the sky is darkening

With smoke
There's fire but I just don't know why
There's smoke the ashes come falling from the sky
I'm trying I'm climbing through the rubble
The sirens they wail as the cities crumble
There's too much smoke

I've learned there are creatures
They call themselves monsters
Of the blackout that came through
Right before I met you
You said you came from a place
In the final race
