Butterflies

When we were kids we used to chase
The butterflies in the fields
We'd run for miles and miles
Far across the hills
And in the valley, we'd jump and shout out all our favourite songs
I'll always remember, the first time that I saw you cross the hall

Now I'm in my bed
Thinking back to all the times i never took a chance
You're always in my head
And your eyes they seem to put me in a trance
I used to chase the butterflies
But when I'm with you
Those little butterflies, they fly to me

Now I'm all alone inside, the back seat of my car
