God of War Lofi Recap Rap
The story begins in the place called Midgard
A wife to mourn, a son to raise up hard
The God of War in a land unknown
He's met by a stranger and it comes to blows
The seeker defeated, Kratos starts off with Atreus
A mother's dying wish to fulfill for these playas
To the highest peak in the realms of the Nine
Her ashes to spread and a vision to find
Brok & Sindri, dwarven smiths, help to fix their gear
A witch helps them in passing in a home that is quite queer
A boat they take towards their proposed destination
Washes up on Jormangundr, a serpent of some station
A black mist rises, to their surprise
But the witch knows a way to keep their dream alive
The light of Alfheim can do the trick
So they summon the bifrost lickety split
The light obtained they cruise right to the mount
The Stranger is there, a god of some renown
Baldur, son of Odin, talking to a trapped head
Looking for a tatt'ed man and son that he'd like dead
Mimir balks, noting there is nothing he can do
So Baldur and Thor's sons leave in earshot of the two
Mimir's tongue loosens for the father son pair
Apparently their goal is so much farther than there
Jotunheim is the peak of the giant's realm home
Another blocked path, but an answer quickly comes
The Leviathan axes Mimir's head, he's no longer alive
They take him to the witch in hopes his light she can revive
He's back, just a head, he announces that she's Freya (What?!)
Wife of Odin, goddess, warns Kratos of his son's blood
Next up they seek a portal but are harried 'long the way
Thor's sons causing trouble, and one dies amid the fray
The other flees then quickly back in angry blinding rage
He's beaten back once more, but Atreus falls in place
Back to the witch, one more time
Only cure- gotta go to Helheim
Axe don't work in the land of the damned
Finna get some blades back from his homeland
Haunted by the ghosts from his past, present, future
Kratos and Mimir go to hell, destroy a creature
Take his heart back to Freya's turtle cabin
Resurrect the boy and tell him what's happenin'
The boy gets mean, he kills a god
He's acting like a fool in his fixed up bod
Baldur comes back to destroy the swarthy crew
The Jotunheim portal is wrecked through and through
They all fall down into Hel once again
Giving Kratos time to explain and make amends
Talking to Mimir they find out Baldur's relation
To Freya, mother, hated, for stealing his sensation
They find a way back to the land of the firm
Then go and get an eye from the belly of a wyrm
Whoa- it's a Baldur surprise
He wants to take down Kratos for his dad with one eye
Freya intervenes just a little too slow
Atreus cuts him up with a sprig of mistletoe
He's mortal, and mental, Kratos wants to let him go
He tries to kill his mom and the Spartan says no
With a snap of his wrist Kratos ends the whole affair
The witch of the woods screams in utter despair
She curses Kratos and the boy purely hateful
Atreus is confused why the mother is ungrateful
Kratos laments the passing of his father at his own hands
And tells his son to learn from this cycle soon as he can
They leave a silent Freya to continue on their quest
Scattering ashes on the Jotun at the mother's behest
Mimir they leave with forge friends, then through the portals go
The highest mount to climb and some new secrets to know
Atreus, half giant, Loki to his mother's kin
His father sees the portents of his own doom now begin
We haven't hit the side quests or the extras in this time
Go play this masterpiece once you've listened to these rhymes
