Dig deeper for the sake of teachers
And the impunities they feed
To our communities
Our educators
Educate us while our heads of state
Just legislate us
They don't care we're impaired
The king of heaven saves us
For the work we have on earth
So don't think you just here
To love in fear you might get hurt
So watch the words you speaking
And the language that you speak in
Cause it's power there
That's manifesting
Our prayers

Right now you center stage
In a age that's been appraised for you
To get engaged without delays
Because we simply sensor
What we prefer
But what we deserve is something
Further his peace is heard
And His mercy serves us
In tender places where His
Spirit tends to place us
We still seem to go seen

But unheard when life
Erases us but every racist justice
In our courts will count his costs up
For the counterfeit we found legit
And all they said was poor us
Whether we be silent or either violent
That's the same
All I ever really wanted was
To rep my father's name
And make my mother happy
Have my son look at me and say
Daddy
With no if ands or buts about that
Fact and know exactly
What it looks like when you look liked

And still discern the terms
When you give people that look like
Your words won't get affirmed
Not over here

And predestined to achieve
