Prodigal
ANGEL
Devon James, I've got a story to tell you
About a wealthy man with a couple of sons too
You know the younger son said
YOUNGER SON
Can I have my share
To see the world and get on out of here?
ANGEL
The father divvied up his fortune and the son left home
After several years of reckless living
The younger son was broke and starving
He decided to return to his father
And beg to work for food and water
And so, he turned around and journeyed all the way back home
And when he saw his son return to town,
The feast included folks from miles around
He dressed him in fine silken robes and gowns
And on his head, he placed a golden crown
The older son said
OLDER SON
Father! How can this be?
He squandered your fortune and left you alone, not me!
ANGEL
The father, he said
FATHER
My faithful son, I am proud
But my youngest son who was dead and lost is now found!
