Sunder, in Mind

(this time is so precious
But its flowing away and i can't stop it)

It's been a long time
Sense I've felt this way
The leaves change their colors (and I'm faded out)
But I stay the same (but I keep falling for it all again)

I fell in love with the seasons
Searching for some meaning
Hoping it brings me closer
To that autumn feeling
Now I'm falling in this empty space
On this canvas before me (it's coming down)
Every brush stroke carries weight and meaning
These colors collide in my mind

These red and orange hues
They dance with the wind
And whisper to me in this frame I reside in
Just as you told me
I'm everything I'll need to be
But I keep falling for it all again

Cause I'm still hoping I can find the answers
Spent so much time staring at these walls
And I still wonder how I'd feel about it
But through the passing of time I'll be alright

I'm afraid that these colors will bleed out
Leaving me with all this empty space
Reflecting on what I had missed out on
(so i guess this means we're drifters again)
Could it all change in a moment
Did I miss the chance I had
Am I living two lives at once
Or am I splitting my thoughts in half
I've got this sunder in my mind
Can't find the balance I need
Nightmares emerge from my dreams
Got me second guessing who I can be
